Education and Training
Prior to starting his career as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Sweeney proudly served in the United States Air Force and attended the United States Air Force Academy. He received his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine with a special certification in clinical research. At Northwestern Memorial Hospital, one of the premier plastic surgery training institutions, Dr. Sweeney completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency. During this time he published numerous articles helping to stay on the cutting edge in plastic surgery. Following residency, Dr. Sweeney learned from one of the most prestigious celebrity plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills and he brings those cutting-edge techniques to Winter Park, FL.
